Event - Improving outcomes, cutting costs

The NHS Innovation Accelerator is hosting a series of information events to demonstrate benefits gained by adopting the NHS Innovation and Technology Tariff (ITT).

Working in partnership with local Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs) the event will showcase five NIA Innovations. I will also illustrate how commissioners and providers can make a saving with their procurement process via ITT, which launches on 1 April.

The five NIA innovations include:

  • MyCOPD
  • The Non-Injectable Arterial Connector (NIC)
  • PneuX Prevention System
  • Episcissors-60
  • AliveCor’s Kardia.

Attendees will be able to access some of the country’s best evidence-based innovations and be reimbursed by NHS England, and learn how these innovations have benefitted patients and secured cost savings across NHS organisations. The event will offer the opportunity to meet the NIA Fellows who represent these innovations and see first-hand how they work, and to find out how to replicate these benefits across your organisation.
