The Health Innovation Network (HIN) and CLAHRC South London are pleased to invite you to a one-day conference.
Showcasing the collaborative alcohol work of the HIN and CLAHRC South London, the conference will involve a mix of lectures, workshops and roundtable discussions. It will provide a platform for exchanging experiences and findings with others working in the alcohol and public health fields, both within south London and beyond. The aim of the conference is to inspire and promote the uptake and implementation of health innovations developed by the HIN and the CLAHRC to prevent and treat alcohol misuse.
This event is relevant to commissioners, researchers and practitioners working in the alcohol or public health fields, and representatives of patients and the public.
The agenda will include sessions on:
· Alcohol care in acute settings
· Implementing Identification and Brief Advice (IBA) in different settings
· Harnessing the power of digital to tackle alcohol misuse
